Design Services
Our design experience covers corporate, retail, leisure and domestic interiors from overall scheme design to interior detailing and furniture. We collaborate with other designers to bring the relevant skills together suitable for a project whether it be a large interior refurbishment or one-off piece of furniture.
HADA has designed products and pieces of contemporary furniture for leading design and architectural practices as well as private clients.
Products range from upholstered seating, suitable for both contract and domestic environments, to storage units,tables and bespoke furniture for restaurants. More recently, HADA has designed several inclusive products for people with disabilities.

Jigsaw Units
8 shapes of upholstered units suitable for contract or domestic use.
The shapes interlock into a variety of configurations from H and T shapes, corner units or can be banked to create a deeper ottoman style unit.
Cube Unit
Cube is a family of storage units mounted on castors with an interlocking storage door and main carcass. Originally designed as bedside cabinets, they can also be used for home office and domestic storage.
JackPack
Concept design for transportable seating for children with cerebral palsy.
The seat provides postural support with integral audio facilities and folds into a portable unit on wheels.
Glide Unit
Glide is a beam seating system suitbale for receptions and waiting areas.
The system can be combined to accommodate end seating units with integral cantilevered table (as shown) and splayed leg detail.
Bread Bin Cabinet
Storage and desking systems suitable home office use or domestic display. Cabinets are available in variety of sizes and heights.
Sixty-two Restaurant and Theatre Bar
This project required a fast-track low-budget refurbishment of a bar and restaurant. As well as serving food, the restaurant had to operate as a bar for interval and pre-performance drinks.
Bespoke tables and bar, constructed on site, helped to keep costs down. Graphics for the facade, menu and promotional literature were designed as part of the project.
Taunton Deane District Council
Interior concept designs for improved access and branding for the council offices of Taunton Deane District Council as part of a roll-out programme of interior refurbishment's.
Awards
HADA has won a number of design awards including:
- The Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn prize in 2001 for a seating system designed for children with cerebral palsy.
- DEMAND prize for inclusive product development 2001 for a seating system designed for children with cerebral pals.
- Shortlisted for the Ness Furniture/Blueprint Magazine Award for contract seating for a reception area.
- The Margo Moore/FX Magazine Design Prize for a conference chair.
